I started my career in theater on the stage in my high school. My first project, build a small folding privacy screen. That simple project created within me a passion for theater that has shaped my entire life. I went to school at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, the fantastic teachers there helped nurture my passion for theater in an environment that allowed me to challenge myself in every aspect and department of the theater. I learned from failures, successes, collaborations, design, show crew, assistant technical director, and even technical director for some productions. I have always had a passion for the theater and now, i have furthered my education as far academically as i can. Now I try to teach fellow thespians the things that i have learned in my early years as a theater technician,apprentice, A.T.D and hopefully teach people proper theatrical techniques that i have learned within my time in graduate school.
