Grayson Basina
Small Running Title
Master's Theater Designer & Artist
Biography
I started my career in theater on the stage in my high school. My first project, build a small folding privacy screen. That simple project created within me a passion for theater that has shaped my entire life. I went to school at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, the fantastic teachers there helped nurture my passion for theater in an environment that allowed me to challenge myself in every aspect and department of the theater. I learned from failures, successes, collaborations, design, show crew, assistant technical director, and even technical director for some productions. I have worked in theaters all across the country, for summer stocks, theater programs, and my own curiosity. I have always had a passion for the theater and now, I have turned my years of experience into teaching and training the next generations of theater artists, while designing professionally myself! Currently I am teaching at the HS level, and working towards becoming a professor!
